Looking for a photography in Geneva area

Hi Guys


Does anyone know good photography in Geneva area?


We are planning to celebrate our son’s birthday and looking for a good photographer in affordable price, first I thought that I’m going to use my Nikon D300s, but I don’t have any studio lights and so on, so thinking of hiring someone to record this event, but I’m not sure how much is it going to cost, anyone has any idea,


I know some guys here but I don’t like the camera that they use, I can’t ask them to change it as they do this as it’s their profession. (Sonny DSL for) I would prefer someone who uses Nikon or Cannon,


I really want to record this even in good condition as have my relatives coming over from many places such as Sweden, Norway France, UK and so on. I just want to record this event in a camera and will send these digital copies to India to make good album with cheap price J


Please advice your comments are valuable for me and I would very much appreciate,

I am utterly fascinated that CaNikon love runs this deep.

So am I. I mean I shoot Nikon and love the system but to not want to hire someone based on the gear they use is beyond my understanding.


I have seen people shoot better pictures with a crappy 3mp point and shoot or even the iPhone than others with a D3s or a 1D Mark IV.


It's the eye, not the gear.


Plus, what's the point of hiring a pro photographer to have the pictures printed out for cheap, whether here, in India or anywhere else for that matter.


I guess whatever floats your boat…
