Hi everyone,
Does anyone know a charity other than red cross for the donation of clothes, books, toys etc. for people in need before christmas?
Last year I collected all the above from friends and family and gave all to a group that was travelling to Haiti.
I would like to do the same this year but want to pick the charity carefully, any suggestions?
Thank you!
Aurelia.

I always give clothes, old electronics and other old stuff to Armée du Salut (in Eaux-Vives, Route de Chêne 18-20 ), they either give it to families in need, often migrants, here in Geneva region or simply sell it in brocante and use money for the charity projects.
In any case, you don't need to worry that it is for a good cause.
