Looking for housing

Hello everyone! It's a pleasure to meet you all.

I am coming to Geneva from the US as a student of law at the University of Michigan Law School. I will be spending 4 months, from mid January until late April interning at UNCTAD at the Palace of Nations.

I was wondering, if anyone has any idea, if I could get some help finding some housing options, maybe some resources that were helpful for you or if you know of people looking to sublet their places.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!

You will find glocals Classifieds very helpful, so check the offers in “Housing available” at least twice a day.

You can also advertise yourself in the “Housing wanted” section where I would recommend that you give a few details about yourself, i.e., where you will be interning, the expected dates of your stay, your budget for rent, etc.

However, do read any offers very carefully (including the poster’s profile) and be prepared to wait a little while before you find a place that matches your criteria.

There is a serious shortage of housing in Geneva and this is also a holiday season so the market could be very quiet until the New Year.
