I'm 23 years old male student from South Korea. I'm starting a 2 years degree in uni of geneva, so I need somewhere to stay from the day of arrival for at least 6 months.. with a possibility of extension!

I find all those flats for a single person way to expensive! (they are usually at around 1000 CHF?)

Hey guys, sorry for not replying earlier.

I'm finding that some of the 2-4 bedroom apartments are quite expensive per person in comparison to a single room. They're also fairly hard to come across.

I'm still in temporary accommodation, and will be looking for a permanent place to stay for the next few weeks.

Why is it so difficult? Finding a place in London is wayyy easier than this.. and that's LONDON!

I've kind of abandoned the idea of teaming up, as the apartments are seriously way too expensive. (It's impossible to get anything below 1000 chf per person). It's a shame because I liked the idea of getting some people together to share a place. It's much more feasible in England.

Sorry to hijack the thread but what about those who can pay more than 1000 chf? I can go to 1500 until the end of the year, will have to see if I want to stay here after that but it's looking good so far (I like Geneva)...If anyone has anything in that price range, let me know and I am in :-) Need to be moving by the 12th of September latest.
