Luxembourg

Please, could anyone help me with some insight or contacts that could help me with a advice for Luxembourg.

I might soon be relocating to Luxembourg and I like to know a bit about rentals/average cost (appartment), employment rules and social benefits, industry standards and bench mark salaries, public transportations, work permits (the company will get my permit, but I would like to be aware of the requirement), driving and scooter permits, etc.

I would appreciate any leads you might provide.

And is there any english speaking website similiar site like glocals?

English forums?

Thanks for any help.

Dave

Dave,

Please check the following for infos

As to living costs and rental fees in Luxembourg it is not so much different than geneva, with some exceptions though when you consider country side. A good link is below

Luxembourg is tiny, but quite lovely. However, because there is a shortage of available accommodation, rentals tend to be higher than in neighbouring Belgium. Would it be possible for you to live in Arlon? You might even consider Germany or France

Blink twice, and you are through Lux but it's still quite a good place to live. Good luck
