Making the move to Geneva

I fell in love with Geneva last summer. Even as a broke American college student I had a fantastic time while I wasn't working at CERN. Now I've finished my degree and am starting a job as a software engineer. As soon as I get enough relevant work experience I want to make the move to Geneva.

For those of you that have made the move, or know how to make the move, what is the best method to go about this? Job hunting resources? Work Visas? My french pronunciation is rough but I can follow simple conversations and get the gist of whats in the newspaper. I'm coming back whether is relocating or just a visit.

Thanks!
