... DO pamper your ladies more! They CERTainly are getting a much larger total body area of waxing done than you are.

Incidentally Nir, you're lucky you were not convinced to get your facial hair THREADED off! I've never done it, but I know that that takes longer and is a much slower removal of hair than "larger" waxed surfaces!

I'll give you three high cheers Nir for being so courageous and giving waxing a shot! I'm sure if most men did it once, they might appreciate much more the efforts of their ladies/ladyfriends, to look and feel good ;op Give yourself a pat on the back!

Your post reminds us that the beloved ladies around us use to endure wierd and painful hair-removing rituals involving wax/brussels/molten sugar (or, even worse, machines) to be pretty, mainly for us, men.

It' th the reathon why I don'th care ifh they don'th remofe their hair (tho much for the flothing of the theeth).

You guys love when the legs of the ladies are smooth (not to mention all the other body parts...), so maybe we also like to have a nice face to kiss in the morning without the hairs....Can you guys imagine a girl with a beard?! Well, for me, it's not "natural", "normal" that guys have it either :-) What's the point?! I think the evolution got stuck at a certain level....why on earth do we need hair on our body? That's the all purpose of clothes, right? I can understand having hair on the head, as a way of showing our personality, bla, bla, but the others, yeuck!

So, thanks hon for trying it! (And stop complaining.....:-)

I like my hair..9 out 10 shops in Geneva are for women's clothes,bags,jwelery and lets not forget shoes..!Men have little choice of what to wear,so if we want to grow a beard ot not shave on the week end then be it,the throat is available too for for a kiss in the morning,and lets not forget the old chinese proverb wich says:'A bird never makes his nest on a naked tree!!',but well noted Nir,I take the face waxing off my list'To do'.

Is a term to try and make alternative lifestyles such as gay and lesbian, become more acceptable, by confusing what it means to be a man or woman, and thus nobody knows how they are supposed to act, and so everything as obscure as it may appear becomes normal, because we no longer remember what normal is!!!

I am a man, a hetrosexual man, I am not feminine neither am I macho, I am sure of my sexuality, how to affirm that in a healthy manner, and know how to treat every woman as the lady they deserve to be treated.

Well as for your grandparents, well I guess nature can express itself in different ways, and at certain ages our hormones go crazy, although I saw my dad walking around in a bra the other day singing sometimes it's hard to be a woman!!!! Not sure whether that is nature, hormones or my dads medication!!!! I'll definately get worried about my parents when my mum starts wearing a jockstrap!!!

As for Bangkok, there must be something funny in the water!!!

But marketing is just the reflect of a social change and behaviour... it just enlighten it and emphasise it to make money out of it. Ubersexual is indeed the latest concept that came out , i am not judging at all , it is just a matter of fact and modern way of life make now men turn into a target of all this. Just walk in the streets and ubersexuals are all around ( Geneva is a very good example ) now to say that it is a mercantile concept ...well then I would answer I AGREE we are in a consumption society( our beloved capitalist world )..and it is always good to have some resitance and critical views on it :) I am just a happy observer of the move and think there are interesting and positive things in ANY change...

I was passing through a shopping mall and was asked to try a new treatment for my hands, and as I was waiting for my family I agreed. First I was to wet my hands then rub in special liquid enhanced with the magical properties of the Dead Sea (What Salty!!) ,this was supposed to deeply cleanse my skin and soften my hands. When asked how they felt I replied as any guy would , it made my hands wet and no I don't notice any difference as I don't spend a lot of my time feeling my own hands. Who buys this stuff?

I've always wonder how pain threshold is measured and who is measured and who inflicts the pain. Does this mean that if you have a high pain threshold actually you don't feel that much pain, or you do, but don't complain. I have a high threshold when it comes to low temperatures , but it's not that I'm being brave but just that I don't feel cold when my wife needs to put on a jacket. Note this facility greatly increase proportionally to the volume of beer consumed

My brother had a serious accident when he was young, and has lots of scar tissue on his face because of it. So for quite a few years it wasn't possible for him to shave (risk of cutting himself increased hugely by the lumps and bumps) and waxed regularly. He said that the first few times did hurt immensely but that it got less painful as time went by, and that he also had to do it less and less often.

Persist, and think sympathetically of all those ladies out there who wax parts of themselves far more personal and sensitive than their faces!
