A sad loss indeed.

Is it confirmed now?
Actually I personally thought that he had died some 10 years ago (the real one) and had been replaced by a double ...

Being a conspiracy theorist, this I had developed this theory already some years ago.
Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson ... what a day.
Of course, Michael Jackson was thrilling at his time - what would have been the 80s without him!

His death is as big of a shock as was Princess Diana's, only less dramatic.
Here in the US, the tributes to Jackson are incredibly fast and furious and is even taking front stage to Farrah Fawcett's death. Her death was imminent so 20/20 & Dateline had the special prepared, but miraculously they both aired a special tribute to Jackson before Farrah. Imagine the frenzy behind the networks to get footages in such short time.
I could never understand why fans would go as far as fainting and in tears while watching him in a concert. Not sure that there's any other artist that make fans go so crazy.
The appollo theater where the Jackson 5 debuted has people gathered tonight in a slight festive mood. They've even brought out the wax version of him from Madam Tussaud on 42nd street. (I'm just reporting live from NY)
I think YouTube is experiencing slowdown from everyone catching his 13minute thriller video, an iconic piece of music history.
may they both RIP

Because I'm dead, I'm dead-come on
(dead dead-really, really dead)
You know I'm dead, I'm dead-you know it
(dead dead-really, really dead)
You know I'm dead, I'm dead-come on, you know
(dead dead-really, really dead)
And the whole world has to answer right now
Just to tell you once again,
Who's dead . . .
Because I'm dead, I'm dead-come on
(dead dead-really, really dead)
You know I'm dead, I'm dead-you know it
