Mobility - which document is needed?

Hi,

I joined Mobility on the day we moved to Geneva and I've loved it! However, they want me to send an "Official residence certificate" in order to keep my membership active.

My Carte de legitimation is being processed by the UN. I got an attestation to confirm that I'm eligible for it and I sent it to Mobility. Now that I tried to book a car it didn't allow me to.

My question is, what sort of "official residence certificate" have you sent to Mobility and where do I get this certificate?

Thank you in advance!

In my case, I went to commune and asked them for paper that I live at certain address. This paper I have scanned and sent to [email protected]. After this they will reply, I hope, and will enable you to book a car.

People are expected to register their address when they arrive in Onex at the Office de La Population. They then usually give a piece of paper. That should suffice. I guess you do live somewhere if your initial mobility subscription has expired.

Since I am not familiar with the UN process, you can look it up yourself on-line or ask your colleagues / HR at the UN. They will be able to let you know as they must have gone through the same issue.
