Mosquitos?????
Has anyone else noticed the biblical mosquito infestation that's going on right now? Maybe it's only in the Paquis, but my God, they're everywhere. Luckily, they don't seem to bite (so maybe they're not mosquitos but some other kind of bug). I'm hoping that this is something that dies down after a couple of weeks, because I'm getting bugged out.

They don't bite, we call them "moucherons" (small flies) and it can be amazing to see a huge "clouds" on the top of a tree. Food for swallow and bath.

That kind does not need to suck your blood to make babies, so, don't worried, they are really smaller then the "bad" mosquito. The only bad thing with them it's when you are bicycling, you get them in your eyes and eat them. Does not taste so good.... You may won't see the difference with the bad one but they will show you, when you get bite, that's the other species.

Sorry, it's in french... I found that.

RESPECT NATURE!

Who are we, humans, to decide what kind of creatures has the right to live or not? Every insect we see will end up under our size 46 shoes or, when it's a flying one, sqeezed against the wall.

Every organism, even how little it is, has its function on this planet.

For example: birds are supposed to eat the flies and mosquitos, however because of humans on a terrace think it's so cute how the birds are very close when they are fed with pieces of bread, the birds don't chase the flies anymore because they already stuffed with bread and are not hungry anymore!

Conclusion: it's because of humans that there are so many flies/mosquitos.
