Hey guys and gals, I have an older bike (hard tail), helmet, and gloves, but I have no idea where to go or even what to do when it comes to mountain biking in the Geneva area.  I would like to join you guys for a ride but I would need to learn more about trail riding and what other gear I would need.

Hi Froilan, stay posted I think we will manage to organise meeting up to go for a ride in the next 10 days or so. Check out and join the Facebook page VTT Divonne in the meantime, it may not be near where you live but we are trying to grow the page and there are rides every Sunday morning. Be great for you to join us! I am happy to come and meet people in other areas on other days too!

Hi Becci, I live in Geneva on the Chamonix side of town - say 2 km from the border between Route de Malagnou and Route de Florissant. I have a VW van and would love to take it, go ride somewhere this weekend and then spend the night nearby a great riding spot. Any chance you feel like joining us? Or, have some great suggestions?

Hey Becci, so good to read from you and feeling encouraged that there are riders out there. Did not get your email so writing you back by way of glocals. Wont be able to join the ride announced on FB tomorrow as we will head out with my VW van today to go explore the trails in the haute savoie. Before heading out for the weekend, how about we organize a ride to get together and meet, say this coming Thursday evening at 8 am. I know a nice loop starting from the Malagnou - Florissant area towards Veyrier and along the river. Drop a line if that tickles your fancy.
