Moving items within Europe

I need some help !!

I am perplexed how to do this in Europe between coutries ~

I've priced Europcar rentals to do it myself ~ the options are expensive @ 4000chf.

I am moving  to Berlin ~ Any suggestions on how to get my things there?

Anyone else done a smaller move ( not a housefull of Furniture ) between countries in Europe?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated !!

Thanks ~  GiGi

When I moved from Boston to GVA, I used a freight service... it was super cheap... like $700 for 300kg of stuff (yes I have a lot of shoes!!!)

it came via truck/ship/rail....and then I had to go pick it up at the Port franc terminal here.

I would defnitlety use a service like that again!

this was the company I used...

But if I were you I would call these guys in Port franc Geneva (they were great at receiving my shipment and I'm sure they can arrange to send out a shipment to germany for less than $4000) (tell Max I say Hi!!!)
