Multi Day Backpacking

I am looking for one or two persons interested in multiday backpacking trips in the local mountains (within 200KM). 2 day trips are fine and maybe work up to Mount Blanc or the Chamonix to Zermatt route at some point. Beginning or intermediate is ok just have to have the will, some equiptment, and the time.

Please send your contact information and/or questions if interested, thanks.

Do you have any indication of the cost and the equipment needed?

Just the standard if you stay out of the snow: Backpack, sleeping pad, sleeping bag, hiking boots, down coat, poncho, mess kit... I would suggest going to the local sports/camping stores to check out the pricing and if you are interested let me know.

Hi! I'm interested in doing some proper multi-day hikes. Got some experience with this and I love it, but it's hard to find motivated people to do it with.

I'll PM you my contacts.

Just for info Jura is good this time of year.  Did La Givrine le Pont last weekend and setting off tomorrow to do Le Pont towards Neuchatel (3-4 days).

But I cut down on weight by just taking sandwiches and sleeping bag plus plastic bag.

I'd be interested definitely. I've just come back from a two day mountain bike camping trip in the Jura. Starting at La Chaux-De-Fonds and then around the 'canyon' that they have there and back around to Yverdon. Not as dramatic a climb as here, only about 1200m climb over all. But beautiful scenery. It was just warm enough to camp in a hammock, with sleeping bad and fleece liner. Pretty amazing.

I'll be hiking this weekend at altitude, to get to know the mountains around me a bit better as well.

But am definitely interested in any further hikes coming up.
