I am not a hardcore gamer, but just thought it could be fun to play some multiplayer if we can find 4 + people. I have all the bf games, call of duty 1 +2 ?nd rome total war, but I am willing to learn cs if that is what we decide for.

BF2 needs a few people as the maps are large most servers are 32ppl or 64ppl, a 4 v 4 would be hard work. CSS tends to be not so large a 16ppl server is common place, but smaller matches can be played.
We probably better off playing on a public BF2 sever on the same side, that way we can play in the same squad and back each other up.
Or if you can get several ppl to met up you can host a "LAN Party" this will require a dedicated machine (unless someone who goes to the LAN has an extremly powerful PC) to host the games ie act as server, some network hubs with enough ports for the all the ppl to play on. Also a room with lots of power ports and places to park ones equipment, these gamers tend to have huge screens, large cases and a coolbox full of food and drink :)
