My university degree adjustment for studying in Switzerland ?

 


Hello all,


I have a bachelor of science in aeronautical engineering, obtained from Dubai UAE.


I have recently moved to geneva and would like to go for my masters soon


do I need to do anything for my degree or can I directly get accepted in one of the masters programs?

You have to check with you uni's requirements in that regard. I think it's not the same for every program. I had a bachelors' degree in law from University of Montreal and was able to have it recognized at UNIGE, so I started the masters' degree directly without having to do any adjustment classes or whatnot. But the recognition of a bachelor depended on the country of issuance. I'm sure you can find some info on the UNIGE website, if that's where you are going!

Oh and I still had to go through the process of having my diploma recognized by UNIGE (send a true copy of my diploma, my grades, fill out a form, bring the original diploma to them upon arrival in GVA, etc.). It's not "automatic".
