I am new to Geneva and a die-hard NCAA basketball fan. I realized time zones (as well as lack of local interest?) make this problematic, but are there any bars in Geneva that show the March tournement games?

You might try Mr Pickwick Pub. I don't see the games listed on their web page schedule. But, they might run them for you, if you went in and asked in advance.
