Hi,
My stuff was stolen from me at a bar here; so while it is not Globus, I understand how frustrating it is to have your stuff stolen while you are living in another country.
If you haven't already canceled your phone plan and credit cards, that's equally important, since many companies will charge you for calls and purchases made while your things were stolen. The first people I called after my stuff was stolen was Orange and my credit card/debit card companies, which was good, because the one thing that never made it back to me was my phone, and I suspect the fact that my cards were inactive deterred them from permanently keeping my stuff.
Even if you find your documents again, it is probably best to begin the process of getting new ones. I am not sure where you are from, but most countries require your birth certificate as the primary document for your passport/ID card/etc. Check with your national registry; they usually have processes simply for replacing stolen documents.
Also, check with the cantonal population office in Geneva if you have lost your residence permit; I am pretty sure they can get you another one, but it might be a labored process (as is most things with them).
As Karl suggested, report it to the police. If you find your goods, you can tell the police to cancel the report with no problem. My purse was found the next day on the ground near the bar by a kind TPG worker, with everything except my phone still in it (I had no cash on me, so nothing to lose there).
Finally, try not to panic. If you have any scans of your residence permit with you, I would keep a paper copy on you at all times (since the police do random permit checks, and you can explain to them why you have a scan).
Best of luck!
