Need an office? - Quick survey on a new coworking space project

Hi everyone,

I am a swiss student at the HEIG-VD in Yverdon and currently doing a paper on a project of establishing a new office offer in the Lausanne area. This project is about creating a place on the same model as the coworking spaces you can find around the world where entrepreneurs or freelancers can come whenever they want and find an active community to share ideas.

I would be very grateful if you could take just a few minutes to complete the survey in order to know if the expat community would need such a place and which services you need.

A similar projet opened in Zürich a few months ago and is knowing a growing success. To find out more about the projet itself, please visit www.hub-lausanne.ch .

Thank you in advance!

I just filled it in (and bumped your post for you). I like the idea a lot.

Thanks to the ones who answered and for their interesting comments.

I am just bumping this thread up as sadly only a few people took the 2 minutes needed to answer.

This new offer would be a real plus for the expat community and entrepreneurs.

Thanks in advance again!

You may get a few more responses but I doubt that you'll reach a number here to make your research statistically significant. I'd go for one or more of the following approaches:

1. Contact Rezonance, which is a professional network in Geneva (www.rezonance.ch). See if they want to help you with your survey, e.g. by sending a message to your members or by allowing you to interview people at one of their events (there are at least 3 events the coming 3-4 weeks).

2. If that doesn't work, forget about quantitative research (survey) and go for qualitative. Get a few enterpreneurs together and hold a panel debate or focus group.
