Hello Glocals, I'm looking for help / advice on interviewing techniques and fine tunning my CV.
I haven't been interviewed for a few years and need to get up to date with it all again. My CV is good but I want it to be cutting edge material.
If you are someone or know someone who can help me out please get in touch.
Many thanks, Pablito ;)

Hi Pablo,
I am hr professional and have done a bit of recruitment and interviewing in career. I was a train the trainer for Nike Canada managers when I worked in their HR....Have since moved on to another firm and recently relocated to our European headquarters here in Zurich.
The main practice in North America is the behaviorally based interview and it is the standard in many multinational companies...essentially the interviewer will ask you a question about yourself that, if answered effectively, demonstrates a key competency critical to the job being interviewed for.
The candidate should successfully demonstrate an answer that is from their real experience: one that is fairly recent, happened in a previous job etc. You should frame your response in the STAR method: what was the Situation, what was the Task, what was your Action and what was the Result that demonstrated the competency.
Google "behaviorally based interview". Hope this helps, ciao.srin;)
