New Car Rip-Off

The Geneva Auto Show is coming up in March.  This year is proving to be the GREATEST  RIP-OFF of all time for Swiss looking to purchase a new car.  Car prices have increased every year since the donkey was the favoured (and only) mode of transport.  Over the last 2 years, exchange rates of the car-producig nationshave fallen dramatically . . . . .

Germany & France - 21%       USA - 19%     Korea - 38%

Japan -11%     UK -31% . . . .   which means that your averge GOLF, Mercedes, Renault, Opel, Hyundi, Jeep, Porsche, BMW, Volvo

should now be retailing for about 20% less than the 2009 model.

Now you see the rip-off - so go to Germany or France or wherever and buy your new car.  They have the same homologation (MOT specs), same international warranty, so there is no problem to import a EU purchased vehicle into Switzerland.  IN fact BMW was so scared they forbid their EU dealers to sell to Swiss residents . . . ever wonder why ?

Anyone looking to buy a new car check out this site, there 15% - 30% cheaper than CH dealers, they will organise the import.

www.globalcartrading.ch/

As they are a CH company, you also don't have any issue with leasing, they will organise it for you, as I've heard there are issues with leasing an imported car into CH.

Cheers, John

Inflationary pressures of top salary packets, creates such an economic bias, oh lets add the oligoplistic market. Plenty do buy from abroad as jherd notes there are many ways.
