depending on your budget theres still alot you can do... but most resto's ask for between CHF 180 to 320.... a head

the clubs also are booked with restos...except a couple of main parties...

You could throw a dinner and then go clubbing...or go to a resto and party there, or resto and then club...

try the little budda bar... for example

Have tried New Year's Eve in Chamonix. While Geneva is dull and dead Chamonix sparkles with life. Just great! You get there early in the evening and book a table in a restaurant of your choice. Walk around in the village, return and eat, get into the narrow streets and mix with the crowd, celebrate the new year outdoors with a bottle (or more) of champagne in your hand. Have done it twice with friends, and we all enjoyed it both times.

While Chamonix sounds absolutely GREAT (and this was something we really wanted) it also requires a stay over, which is probably not possible to find at this point.

But also, is there any fireworks in Geneva, and if yes, is there any good spots to see that?

The Clubhouse bar (25 Plantamour in Paquis) is open with live music. No cover charge, no cranked up drink prices http://www.theclubhouse.ch/ There is a buffet option that you would need to book in advance.
