Hi Oonagh - that's really helpful and kind of you to post this.

I was wondering what to do for NY and apparently (down this end of t'lake) the Vevey spectacle is even better than Montreux.

Also begs the question - why are Swiss Commune website so shite!!!!!

Hi Carolyn, i have decided to go for the Montreux option as at least we see the fireworks, i didnt find anything similar in Vevey, at 1st i wanted to go on the boat but it was full :-( Next year ;-)
