New Year's Eve in Geneva
Hi,

I don't where I can post this question, sorry if it's not the good place.

Is there anybody who thinks  to stay in Geneva to celebrate the New Year's Eve?

I would like to stay in Geneva just to see it once in my life...

thanks

Barbara

I might consider the thought... I'm usually up in the mountains, but if something worthwhile is happening in GVA, then yes.

Nir, and other Glocals, is there something organized in Geneva?

Cheers, Patrick

Myself and my bf are hesitating between Geneva and Paris.. If we are lucky to find a bunch of fun people then Geneva wins! As Paris is far away and quite expensive already.. :)

Perhaps we could come to some great plan together?? :)

hello guys,

Looks like at the end I will be staying in Geneva for the New year's eve, so if I find a place, there might be a Wines & Tapas party:)

Add me to your friend list if you'd like to get a message when i post it.

just when I thought there was nothing in Geneva... but if there's going to be a big W&T party.. hmmm... then maybe i WON't go to the chalet in the middle of nowhere on the 31st but ring in the new year with the glocal revelers, and go to the mountains the next day instead. Tough decision...

Finally, I don't know what I'm doing but probably I will stay in Italy: this year trains work very bad and by plane takes me more than by train. Italy now is not organized at all but I have to come back at least for Christmas for my parents. Uf...

Time is ticking and very soon the last available places will be booked ( if not yet ).. I am not so much interested in clubbing myself. Outdoor activities on December night sounds scary as well..:) so the top idea for me is good company + nice place ( a restaurant or someone's home) + good laugh + champagne :)

However we might go skiing after all as a group of good friends are going..But I wish you guys who are staying a nice  New Year evening in Geneva! Next year you can give some good advice ;)
