L'ethno Rue Bovy-Lysberg 1
(just before plainpalais when coming from the lake, railway station area , other side of the road from Cafe cuba.)
Not very well known but very nice. Cheap but ok beer and other drinks in a cool, stylie yet unpretentious setting. Friendly (yet most french speaking only) bar staff and good atmosphere with some good music normally. Great place to start the evening.
Try it out if you don t know it and tell me what you think?

That normally annoys me too. Love music and dancing but pubs are about chatting. But can t honestly say it ever annoyed me there!
