Nissan Qasqai /Juke, Audi A3 owners

Hi guys,

I am ready to change my current car which is Audi Q3 (gas 2.0, 170) as it expensive for my budget. Other than than I am happy with the car.

I wonder how much the owners of Nissan Juke/Qashqai and Audi A3 are paying for their insurance and the tax for the car plates.

I defintely will switch for the car with the diesel and < 2.0l for less consumption and lower insurance/tax.

Any other comments about your car, something I should consider? Are you satisfied with your car?The internet is full of contradictory reviews.

Any advice is welcome!Smile

Thank you!

Hi Nat you should be able to find plenty of reviews online... If you are planning on going with a smaller car the A3 is great i have driven my friends car multiple time and seems like a nice little car. The Nissan Juke is funny looking (my openion) ....if you are an Audi fan stick with them...for price comparision on the models you are looking for try Anibis....

I ve been driving a Nissan Qashqai since the beginning of the year and although it s a diesel 1.6, the power, speed and accessories are  to my full satisfaction

It s a nice , good car and if reputation is indeed repetition, no wonder there are so many around

In essence, despite all costs reasoning I d definitely recommend

Good luck

Over the years, I have found  "Consumer Reports" to be the best, most complete and most reliable source of reviews for all consumer goods, specially cars.

Here is the overview of their review for the Nissan Qashqai, which is marketed in the US as "Nissan Rogue."

https://www.consumerreports.org/cars/nissan/rogue/2018/overview

and here is the one for the Audi Q3

https://www.consumerreports.org/cars/audi/q3/2018/overview

To get the complete, exhaustive review, you have to become a member, which costs you $30 US per year or $ 9.99 per month.

They are independent, sustained by membership fees, test the cars/products and their expertise is unrivaled.

Hi Nat,

Definately A3 amongs the three you've mentioned, no doubt about it! Have a look on bareme you'll have to pay, it depends on car's power: http://ge.ch/vehicules/baremes-dimpots. As for insurance, well, it depends on options, casco, franchise, etc. The best deals have Elvia (Allianz but online only), Allianz also has good deals. Contact Aymeric Brossard here on glocals, he'll guide you.

Regards and good luck!

Among other long trips I went several times from France to Estonia driving through Germany, Poland, etc with my venerable Renault Laguna II (2002) and never had any problem. Sometimes a car is more a question of status than anything else...
