Is it possible to help the younger generations not to fall for it ... ?
Let's fight against this pretend world, let's be ourselves, too much is too much !
"Beauty is as relative as light and dark. Thus, there exists no
beautiful woman, none at all, because you are never certain that a
still far more beautiful woman will not appear and completely shame the
supposed beauty of the first." (Paul Klee)
The path to a decent level of self-esteem doesn't go hand in hand with the uncontrolled desire for physical perfection.
"This is the very perfection of a man, to find out his own imperfections." (Saint Augustine)

So good so true! thanks for this posting! I will use it for my clients and their daughters!
I am ex-model and suffered so much from the distorted beauty paradigms. Including anorexia. This message is so important and is what my project is set up to transmit for.
I am convinced, because i tried for myself and for my clients, what it does matter is your attitude, to know who you are and what do you want from life.
We cannot build up our identity in something exterior, a brand, a add, a fashion trend, a celebrity, a plastic surgery... etc etc...
as i wrote on the book I am (still) writing:
This speech is dangerous and not deeply empowering real Women to find their identity and stand in their feet. Let’s face it, It has severe consequences on women’s self-esteem, and health, promoting consumerism, anorexia, plastic surgeries, etc.
Today we are living and working in a world where the official rules had been created by men. We are convince and demonstrate in this book that by embracing differences and learning how to fight as a woman (rather than fighting as a men ) is when you gain others respect and you can have what you want.
A quality man wants a quality woman. Thank you for this posting! see you around!

let me just bring one critical point in: what do you think you change with it? what is there that not already everybody knew? it points out a correct and important thought, but the campaign misses content and determination.
