There seems to be loads of events going on like 'Over 40s this' or 'Over 35s that' or 'Over 45s singles night'......just seems unfair!! I bet there'd be loads of you old people kicking off for being excluded from an 'Under 30s night out' or similar......or 'New member drinks open to everyone without any grey hairs'
So, leave it out! Us young people can be fun too!!!!
ps. I know I've promised to leave him out of further posts, but the main person who made me write this was my good friend Jerseyboy; he has a bit of a festish for the older lady, and is feeling rather miffed at all these lost opportunities to groom them at GOL events since he is well under the age limit for most and a prime market is being taken away from him.......

Hully,
I am glad to see the banter with Jersesy boy is back...always makes me smile. I hope he picks up the glove and hits back...(-:
Now seriously, for the events: why don't YOU yourself pull together something targeting the youngsters?

i think most of the activities i see posted out there are for everyone, young or old, and i don't think it's that big of a deal that some activities are for a special age-group. it's like activities for people who like photography, sports, etc. but Nir's right: organise your thing and see what happens ;)

Ok so according to Julian (omni)the activity shouldnt say "For those over 40". It should say something to the effect:
TOPICS OF DISCUSSION
Pension Funds
Ulcers from work
Second homes
Second spouse
I've discovered religion (actually that's more for the 60's and over group, more convenient moment to discover religion)
My teenagers don't respect me
I found a new vitamin

Is the Latest Blackberry better then the TREO?
How cool is the iphone going to be?
What's in fashion what is not
Is it red the colour of the summer?
How come that all the good guys/girls are taken or you meet them when leaving Geneva ...
Double meaning jokes and the likes.
Where to go clubbing
As you can see .. no mention of ipods!!!
Vale (this is a joke obviously we talked about much deeper topics)

..you've got the latest iPod, an old mobile, go out every night, found out an new vitamine, like to party like crazy, have a kid, do lots of sport and don't give a damn about how old poeple are ? Can you be considered as "ageless" ?
Maybe the only meaningfull sorting would be to put the selective events organisers aside ? ;-)
