Hi,
I had a plumber come and unblock a toilet for me (the plastic freshener bit got logged in there). The plumber came in, worked on it for half an hour and charged me for two hours of labour, plus the additional charges for coming in on a Sunday. In the end I was charged 700 CHF for half an hour of work!
I wrote to the Regie (as the plumber was recommended by them) that they had in fact overcharged me and the bill should reflect only the actual work they did.
The Regie came back to me stating the plumber insists on those hours worked. His word over mine. Also, unfortunately I signed the sheet the plumber gave to me but nothing was written on it and I told him I didn't want to sign a blank piece of paper, but he said "dont worry the regie will pay it".
Is there any recourse I can take against the plumber? Does anyone else have experience with this?
