" Windows failed to start. The selected entry could not be loaded because the application is missing or corrupt".
This is the message I get when I turn it on. The laptop is too small for a disc. And when I press enter nothing happens.
Can anybody help?

yeap Zonker is the man.
did they give you or did you make a recovery disk or usb stick?
if not, copy the exact missing file from the screen, and get this file from the microsoft website and save it on the usb stick.
start up the pc and go into the bios, and start up in safe mode. then you can place the missing file in the system.
restart the pc and all should be fine.
if this is too complex for you to follow, take it to steg computer in prilly.

update:
you can press F8 just after turning on the pc (before it tries to start window) and you will have a menu.
select : last working set up ( or something like that )
if that doesn't work, do the same and select "recovery"
