PROJECT: My Mother's Marriage

Hello everyone!


My name is Marco and I moved to Geneva to work at CERN. I feel quite new to gLocals, but I have organized a few tours at CERN for people here and I am a member of the Got Milk? group.


Now I want to ask you guys a favor! My mother is getting married soon, and she is always very interested in what life is like in Geneva. SO! I would like to like to create a really short video with few "Greetings from Geneva" to her in different languages (as it's very international). The idea is to collect many "good luck wishes" in different languages and ask you maybe a few questions on tape. It's very easy for you and you help me out! 


You don't have to do anything special, just say something in your mother tongue and tell me what you said on a nice location. So, it shouldn't take more than a few minutes of your time. 


Please send me a message if you'd like to join, I already got a few positive responses from people I know here. But it would be really nice if other people would join in :-)

It will really only take a few minutes of your time. I would like to ask you to wish my mother congratulations in your mother language, and maybe ask you a few questions. I will try not to be too personal, just something like: are there any traditions in your home country? Can you pronounce my mother's and my "new father's" names, I think that can be a funny part - if you don't mind. :-)
