Two tips on Paléo below. More tips such as what to wear for Paléo over on [http://www.livinginnyon.com/]Living in Nyon [/url]
There are cash machines/A.T.Ms at Paléo but at peak times there are always very long queues/lines. So if you don't want to miss the music then take money out in town or en route before you get to the site.
Paléo covers many acres. Lots to see, lots of concerts to attend. So if you happen to get lost or want to meet up with friends or family after a concert then there are various spots across the grounds that are easily visible and where many choose as a meeting point.
The first is on the hill by the Paléo (Hollywood type) sign at the entrance. You can sit or lay on the grass to your heart's content and keep an eye out for others. If it's raining then the big round Orange Migros Lounge is very visible, it's sheltered and because no alcohol is served in this area it's a good place for children to wait. For adults there are lots of bars with flourescent signs, pick one of these as a rendezvous when you go in.
Having a prearranged meeting spot is not a bad idea, because last year at Paléo the whole of the cell/mobile telephone network went down for well over an hour and lots of folk were wandering round desperately trying to find each other........
