In the winter, try paragliding in the ski resorts, verbier, anzère (http://www.parapenteanzere.ch/En/Pages/Presentation.php), in CH and Samoen, Annecy in FR to name just a few not too far from Lausanne. In Switzerland, you need to be certified to fly without being monitored by a school. But in France, you are on your own, anyone with a wing can fly. I only have about 20 flights and will be flying with the school in Anzère this january when the weather allows.

As for skydiving, I only know of a skydive school in Annemass in France (outskirt of Geneva)  http://www.parachutisme74.com/, but it is closed in the winter season. Have fun.

I did a tandem jump with Parachutisme74 once, it was a very enjoyable occasion and I'd recommend it to anyone with an appetite for adrenaline. They recently sent me an email for a touristic helicopter tour finished with a tandem jump for 330€ (payable in 3 instalments if desired). Sounds like a great present.
