As you are from the US, are you here on a student B visa or such? In that case it would not allow you to work legally.
To find the kind of work you are looking for it`s best to go by the restaurants/shops in person.

Thank you Thomas!
If you’d be interested in, say, baby-sitting or dog-walking, have a look at the notice-boards in the Coop, Migros, Denner and other supermarkets – or even place your own ad. there and on glocals. It’s free!
Best wishes, R.

Check this out: http://www.serviceathome.com/
it's where people can post small errands they need done (like dog walking, putting together Ikea furniture, etc), and get bids from other people.

I bet she has one hell of a headache tho !!!
it depends if you want something to keep you occupied or if you want some pocket money.
The volunteering scene is great. You get paid in booze (champers if lucky), food, t shirts and tickets to which ever event your working.
Just see whats going on and drop them an email, the tennis tournament was a prime example, and the rolex horse jumping just gone, mini festivals/concerts, escalade etc etc. There past events to give you an idea what to look out for.

Hello dear Glocals community!
By the way, Does anyone know where to find jobs in the "Geneva International Motor Show/ Salon de l'auto 2015"? There is nothing about jobs in their web page.
Also, I didn't find anything else than hotess jobs for this show in some links.
Please, if you know something let me know soon.
Thank you and Happy and beautiful 2015 ;)

Rather than just looking for offers, have you tried inserting an ad. in the Classifieds yourself? You could also place an ad. on the notice-boards in local Migros and Coop supermarkets as well as Manor and Denner outletrs.
Best, R.
