As the majority of contributors to the site are obviously young-ish, hopefully it will be a very long time before you have to make contact with the Pensions office in Geneva. Quite honestly they are hopeless. Our bank made a small change - in fact because of a merger with other branches in the district - so nothing to do with us per se, but which had to be advised to all government offices, including the above of course. Having had such dramas with them last time [it took them SIX MONTHS to respond and then only because I complained to Bern], I sent through the same information on a daily basis each day for 3 weeks. All I received was an automatic response. Finally, after more than 5 weeks and also with the intervention of Bern seemingly, they deigned to respond last Friday saying they would make the adjustment as from 1 August. Well, 1 August is the National Holiday in CH so one wonders what will actually happen.
Really, their lack of efficiency is appalling. One wonders what they do all day?
Would be super if someone working at this office read this............
