Hi Tigre - this is a good idea. If you do the tracking, scoring and all the hard work, ;)... I will match your funds to double it to 6 competitions. I am a fan of photography and would love to see creative talent of folks here... their photos shared perhaps with caption or few lines of where the photograph was taken.

How about dedicating a monthly picture competition, where any member can post, and every member can view all submissions? Glocals forums now allow picture posting. If Nir and SiteAdmin concur, we can discuss this offline and then implement the monthly competition with cash awards.

I am open to other ways to implement this. Best wishes, Colorado.

1) Congrats to Youme-san for a true surrealist pic. (The two other ones, while fine, were more anecdotal - you'd find them really funny only if you knew the people involved)

2) It was a good thing not to know who were the authors of the works. It helped prevent biased judgment... But then, Tigre had to do all the work... So I don't know for the future contests.

3) Other themes: Street art, festivals, cute kids, bridges, castles, temples, animals (cats, dogs, insects, birds, jerboas, platypuses...), military, cops, old timers, fountains, bubos, petechiae and other skin diseases...

Thanks for the great theme ideas. Maybe for future contest, it's a good idea to use the forum/threads for posting the pictures. It would be fun to see everyone's pictures.
