Possible to donate crutches???

Hi,

I have a pair of crutches (béquilles) from when I had a cast on my leg a couple of years ago. These are just the standard things that hospitals here provide.

I'm having a clear out & was going to chuck them out. However, if I can donate them anywhere I'd prefer to do that (reduce wastage!).

Any suggestions?

If your crutches are in good shape, offer them to your local chemist, who might be interested in taking them to hire out for short periods.

I did this with a pair of mine some years and the chemist not only took them but gave me a handful of francs as well.

Otherwise, call one of the charity organizations – Caritas, Centre social protestant, Armée du Salut, Emaus, etc.  They often receive requests for this kind of material.

Best wishes, R.
