Prepaid wireless for occasional use in France

I want to get a prepaid SIM card to use when I visit France.  I searched the forums and I didn't see anything on this topic....

What I want is data.  I don't really care about voice minutes or SMS.  Ideal would be a plan where I can pay 2-3 EUR for a day's worth of data (as Swisscom does with their NATEL Easy plan) and not have any monthly recurring charges.

Any suggestions on the best provider for this?

Hi

SFR had a very good plan, but the ended with it.

Now for me the easiest plan is B&You. You buy the credit

10,15, 20, 25 euro depending of the data you want

The good thing, is that there is no limit in time for the use of you credit

if you buy for 25euros, you will get 500Mo, and you can use it when you want. You only have to use it once a year to keep your credit

didier, this is perfect for someone who only visits for 2-3 days per month.  Most of the other plans are a good deal only if you'll be around long enough to use up one month's service.

Would you believe that I can't find a provider in the US with a similar deal?

Excellent ;-)

I have the problem each time I go to US. I have to buy an AT&T pre paid card, and since last year they charge 30$ to activate ;-(  I hope Apple will update GSm frequencies so I can use another provider for 3G ;-)
