Hello all. My Easyjet flight was cancelled and, although they offered me a place in another flight the following day, I think I am still entitled to €400 in expenses du to the delay. Obviously, they don't want to pay. Does anyone know what is the appropriate Swiss authority to clarify this matter and eventually file a complaint?
Thanks a lot
Jorge

Jorge they will try everything to not refund your funds, & take forever if they do. Pester them everyday, i personally am black listed from flying easy jet for just such a reason. I made them refund my flight, hotel & travel costs because of a cancelled flight from London. It took them almost 3 months to refund all of my money, & then they black listed me, (don't ask) it doesn't really matter as since that incident i refuse to fly lost cost airlines.
Boa Sorte !

yes I have had the same thing! they cancelled my flight about 2 weeks before and offered me another flight - wow! It meant I had to re-organise my car hire and also losing a day on my hotel. Problem is there isn't another airline company that is near to where my parents live - bummer!

the only thing Easyjet is able to consistently guarantee is that you will be miserable. In fact that seems to be their business, to charge you to make you miserable. That you might actually get to another destination is merely secondary and is really of no importance to them at all.

another Easyjet scam:
If you buy an Easyjet ticket the site will automatically add travel insurance. You can opt to remove this of course, but since Easyjet is such a crap airline some people will choose to keep the insurance thinking it will in some way help them when Easyjet decides to cancel their flight for no real reason other than there are not enough people on it probably. Or maybe they never intended to fly that day anyway, who knows?
The scam part is that if you are not a legal resident of the country which you are flying out from, the insurance is useless. It is only for legal residents of the departure country, yet they try to sell it to everyone. So if you try to apply it you will find that the insurance is as worthless as the tickets you have to nowhere. The only way you can find this out is by clicking on Terms and Conditions and reading the fine print. So what exactly did you buy?
Or you can just watch this girl's video:

I emailed them when my flat was more than 5 hours late to complain and was refunded with no problem. I quoted the air passengers' charter!
