Problems with Orange France Telecom?

Hi everyone,


Does any of you have had problems with Orange France Telecom?


I have taken this operator when I moved to Ferney 2 years ago and had occasional problems with them but it got even worse lately:


1) fix network:  slow internet, TV interruptions (no TV at all or image stuck) and/ or no telephone at all


2) mobile : sms comes sometimes 2 days later and incoming voice messages up to 1 week later.


If someone had similar problems, how did you sort them out? Have you stayed with Orange or got to Free, SFR, etc?


Many thanks for any advice you might give me.

Hi,


My tv box never worked properly and I gave up eventually - often it just had no signal on many channels and it had to be reset 4-5 times every time I wanted to use it before it would work. Given I can plug my laptop into my tv and watch uk tv shows streaming anyway, I never chased it up.


I never had any problems with the internet or telephone though (except all the cold callers continually bothering me...).

btw sorry thats not helpful in that it solves your problem, but my point was its not just you that has problems.....so could be a general issue with quality on this service I am afraid.

Thanks Mark. Your experience is similar to mine as far as TV is concerned.


I pay for service that often does not work.


More annoying is the communication side with both fix and mobile networks.
