Hi everybody,
I was thinking to propose a new forum, which will talk about the taboo subjects that have happened to people, that should be of interest to so many people here in town, like crime, Driving in Geneva, taxes, the high cost of living, in fact in your profiles you have all filled in the place where it suggests that "Geneva Sucks for?" So lets get it off ones chest and talk about it.
Geneva is a stressing place. Di-stress and talk about it with the community.
I could do talking with people, if this web site would have been around begining of last year I probably would have not got into all the trouble that I did!!

i can understand why it might be interesting or thought necessary...but i think maybe we'd then focus too much negative attention on our living here. yes, bad things happen and we should warn each other (ie kari's mugging and the rest), but basic bitching? we can do that when we get together at events (oh how i miss 24 hr grocery stores!;) i think genevaonline is more about embracing and exploring this unique city we are in. just my humble 2 centimes.

If you do not talk about or explain about what is wrong in town. How can we know what is going on.
Look we are in a unique situation. The expats/foreigners finally have a voice here in town. This voice is the G.O. or Nir (Our resident celebrity) With them we can voice what is wrong in geneva and we can make suggestions on how to improve this place we live in.

I understand your need to vent, and Im glad you feel that the expats now have a voice.
I suggest that you post your complaints/ideas in the General Forum, and well see if there is a demand.
