Hi Anne.
Check out their website (in french)http://www.lepsycho.ch/
Seems that every Friday and saturday, they open their club to Glocal and sindy members. The deco looks really cool (see photos) and i'm hosting a Mamas Nite out with some friends and was looking for a cool place for us to hang out...
Hope the info comes in handy...

Hey,
When Psycho opened 3 months ago, it was reserved for glocals & Sindy members on weekends (althogh glocals / Sindy are not the owners or managers).
But glocals / Sindy is no longer linked to Psycho. We did not see things eye to eye with the owners about the door policy (we wanted age 25+) and music (we wanted no techno and no trance).
So Psycho still works, but there's no more glocals / Sindy link.

Thanks Nir for the update.
It's a pity that the arrangement didn't work out. It would have been GREAT if it had! I'm crushed! It sounded like the real-deal...
oh well....
Have a good spring...

Hey Carnival girl,
Yea, it was a shame. I'm sure that a good expat-friendly club in Geneva for ages 25+, without all the trance & techno crap, and with a simple "let's have fun without having to show we drive a BMW", will be welcomed by many glocals members (incl me). We're still on the hunt for the right thing, and I hope we'll find it.
Until then, check out these pictures from last Saturday's Spring Party:http://www.glocals.com/photos/events_photos/26274/

Nir, Thanks for everything you are putting together, this community would not exist without you. This is idea of expat oriented club was great. But why the 25 yr-old policy? When going out in group, ages can range, and with folks graduating at 21 or 22 from great schools (think HEC, Oxford, US Ivy undergrads etc) you do have expats under that age level. Not to mention couples with one below 25...

The Psycho is still going strong! Even though there is no longer a link with glocals/sindy there are still many expats members and locals who do go there and enjoy the atmosphere and music very much. I work there on weekends and can honestly say that most of our clientel probably do not drive a BMW and are very down to earth. It might not be for everyone but it is a cool place to chill upstairs are tear up the dancefloor downstairs.
Come by, see for yourself.

Thanks Georges.
I don't doubt for 1 second that there are great people out there under 25.
But the average age on glocals is 30, and we had consistant feedback from our members that they prefer parties where they know there will be only folks age 25+ inside. I know it means some good people can't get in, but it also means that the majority of our members feel at home at the parties.
