Question about Dryers (Machines) - SÈCHE-LINGE

Dryers in the United States require a dryer vent but I heard the ones here in Europe don't.

i was wondering how they work? Can I just put the dryer anywhere in my apt as long as it's connected to an electric outlet?

Any help is appreciated.

yes, if it is a condenser dryer. you just empty the water recipient ( you can save it for the steam iron as it is "distilled" water).

It's not a question of European or American, there are different technologies around. Start by doing some reading http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clothes_dryer .

I Beleive in switerland because of energy ratings, most are not condensation dryers but

'Heat pump dryers'

As such im not sure about the 'distilled water' and double check your dryer before you destroy your Iron.

Condensation dyers us 15% more energy, and Heat pump dryers use 50% less energy. just for your info.
