Thanks for the link. It is very interesting.

My main concern has to do with the fact that obtaining a B.SC. from this kind of private university may not allow the student to go for graduate programs in the Swiss public universities.

I just found, for example, that the only private university in Switzerland which is considered as a University by the Swiss authorities is the Franklin College in Lugano (see the list here: http://www.crus.ch/information-programme/recognition-swiss-enic/recognised-or-accredited-swiss-higher-education-institutions.html?L=2 )

So, could my niece by admitted at the HEI or Geneva University after having obtained a B. Sc. at Webster?

Thanks

Fernando

Hello Fernando,

Thank you for your interest in Webster University Geneva.

I work in the admissions office and just saw your message. I hope you don't mind me answering:

Webster is an American University and therefore has an American accreditation recognized worldwide. You will be obtaining your diploma as if you studied in the US.

We have many students that do their graduate programs in Swiss universities whether it's: Université de Genève, Université de Neuchâtel, etc. after their undergraduate years.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us at the admissions office.

Thank you very much Alexandra,

Indeed I have several friends and colleagues who have pursued a MBA at Webster Geneva and I must say they are all very competent. So, I have no doubt about the quality. Your message answers my question about Webster undergraduates being accepted for graduate studies in Swiss Universities (e.g. HEIUED, Geneva Univ., etc.). It is good to know thay can be enrolled.

I will, if you don't mind, tell my niece to contact you directly should her have any further question.

Regards

Fernando
