Weeping buckets here, as the news of the death of Charles Azanavour, chanteur extraordinaire at the age of 94 has just been published. Those in the know are saying he was greater than Sinatra - with which I for one heartily agree. How much joy has he brought to the world singing in 7 languages, to so many people, over so many years?
