Time to celebrate one man's incredible participation in and contribution to the music world. His succession is described in Le Matin

http://www.lematin.ch/loisirs/musique/claude-nobs-planifie-succession/story/16158671

but the café is not mentioned. I made a visit to that café at the airport and was disappointed. Appart from memorabilia there was no 'soul' to the place, no obvious raison 'd'être' - appart from the name for a bar. Could just have well been 'Airport bar'. Do you have a better feeling about it?

What a full life he led, to 'die following a ski accident at 76 years old' is already on the way to great epitaph! Smoke on the water, fire in the sky...

His contributions to the music industry and to Switzerland as a result of creating the festival are remarkable.

RIP - Funky Claude. Thanks for all you've done.
