"From tomorrow, the 1st of December, the fine for drivers who use the region's motorways without the obligatory motorway sticker will double. Oh dear I better buy a vignette then!!!
The 2011 vignette is still good until 31.01.2012
The new CHF 200 fine will also apply if you put the sticker in an "unapproved" area (such as a side window). The approved areas are shown on the back of the vignette (the paper part you peel off). Basically, it is the upper left or lower left of the windshield or behind the mirror.
