From our side of the lake, we can see from Vevey to Nyon: even if it is not raining in Lausanne, it always seems to be so in Morges. Don't understand why Morges always seems to suffer, but believe me, we can see is deluging down there and fine either side. My OH thinks it is because there is a gap in the Jura behind Morges where the bad weather passes through. But in any case, if you don't believe us, come over this side and have a look!

you are right ..we live in lausanne but i had few visits to morges...and even if it was not raining in lausanne there was a heavy rain fall in morges..

Dunno about rain, but Morges gets a lot of wind in the winter. Still air in Lausanne and Nyon while trees are being uprooted in Morges...

Agree with the Jura. When we want to see what the weather is going to be in the next few hours, we just have a peek in that direction.
