Hi all, I'm now looking for a complementary health insurance here in Switzerland. The CSS send me a health questionnary for the last 10 years to get the complemetary insurance.
My question: do you know a good complementary health insurance (privat/semi-privat with coverage of pregnancy), that only wants to know your history from the last 5 years?

not sure which ones do that, however if you go on comparis you can get the draft requests including the questionnaires. there you can see what they need.
When I did my insurance with Sanitas they only go back 5 years, however, be prepared because they are not the cheapest!

Its not so importante, that they are very cheap, just want an insurance which covers me good and without problems and just ask me for the last 5 years ... I'll try your recommendation! thank you Martin :-)

Try Comparis.ch = health section, it should help you make an informed decision

CSS is good, also hte website Comparis is helpful.
Also i glocals there are alot of discussions about this and also in the classified.
I did alot checks myself.
I used too be with Assura, cheep but crap service and conditions.
Now im with SWICA and there complementary health insurance, dental, etc.,.
Which is freaking expensive, but in end, i get it all without hassels.
CSS is good, also hte website Comparis is helpful.

- possibly no franchise or very low

Complementary health insurance is important and I recommend you to find a personalised concept because the contracts are long and difficult to change.
