Hello,
We've just moved here from the States and it seems that our building does nothing to recycle - I feel terrible throwing bottles and plastics out! Any suggestions for recycling places in or near Eaux-Vives? Thanks!

Hey Amy,
I encountered the same issue when I moved to Geneva. As far as I can tell, most buildings do their own trash and paper, but don't do compost, glass, plastic, or aluminum. Thankfully, there are 110 places that you can go to drop off the recycling. Here's a whole list of them; it's a bit tedious but you should be able to find the place closest to your house!

It's only the list of glass recycling but glass and aluminum ones tend to be in the same place. PET (plastic) there's a lot more of but they are often separate from glass/aluminum - almost every grocery store has plastic-recycling facilities.

There is a point in Rue vollandes around number 20 I think in from of a school to recycle crytal bottles, clothes and I think board or plasti ( I can not remmenber now)
