Recently  I changed over 20 lamps in my home.
I invested about CHF 200- on the energyLED efficient bulbs. I researched the price at Jumbo, Schilleder, Osram, Saeram, Migro do it yourself, and yeah a bit of an investment. but then in the first month my SIG electricity bill went from 269 to 175 = for 2 months saving CHF 94-. I also started to wash cloths and dishes at night.
And on researching/checking further I found that LED bulbs energy cost about 20% the cost, Further they last between 10 to 25 times longer. Yeah I used to have all hallogen bulls over an over the bulbs, costing alot. over 2 months already not one LED bulb burned out. I do hope and expect the 10-25times the life time.
